Saloman är en strålande gitarrist, som tål att jämföras med ett par av hans förebilder, Jimi Hendrix och Eric Clapton. Musikaliskt står hans plattor i skuld till den progressiva brittiska rocken 1968-72, särskilt till namn som Hawkwind, Man och Patto, men det märks också ett intresse för blues och psykedelia i hans enorma produktion.
